Co-Founder/Co-Developer, AlzBuddy

Sep 2018 to Present

  • Developed a noncommercial app for Alzheimer's patients with 10,000+ downloads in 37 countries.
  • Consists of Sounds, Games, and Pictures modules, all of which have received positive feedback from nursing home users.
  • Featured by Forbes, FOX4, NBC5, WFAA8, and CBS11

Head of Outreach & Logistics, Forward Future

May 2022 to Present

  • Managed 501(c)(3) nonprofit fighting food waste & food insecurity featured on NBC5 that received funding from Dartmouth College and the Taco Bell Foundation
  • Implemented and oversaw outreach methods for FoodNex, a mobile app connecting hunger assistance organizations with potential donors that has coordinated donations of 339,000+ pounds of food worth over $370,000

Summer Research Intern, NIH/NINDS

June 2023 to August 2023

  • Conducting research under Dr. Michael Ward on frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) at NINDS.
  • Using induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) models of neurons and CRISPRi screens to understand genetic factors behind these neurodegenerative disorders.
